Description

Salò, a panoramic hilltop location about 800 meters from the lakefront, a penthouse in a renovated historic villa, divided into seventeen units.
A highly sought-after, elegant, stately, and luxurious setting, with a garden featuring centuries-old cypress and olive trees and a swimming pool, all with breathtaking panoramic views of the lake.

The penthouse enjoys a complete lake view from every window, is accessible by elevator, and comprises a living area with an open-plan kitchen, a very large master bedroom, and a private bathroom.
It lacks terraces and balconies.
Very spacious, with four main rooms registered on the land registry, so a second bedroom could be created.
The offer includes a very spacious double garage and an equally spacious cellar.
Condominium fees: €5-6,000/year.

Salò, monuments and places of interest:
Religious architecture: Salò Cathedral, dedicated to Santa Maria Annunziata, represents the most valuable architectural work, designed by Filippo delle Vacche in the late Gothic style, but never fully completed. Inside, it houses paintings by Romanino, Moretto, Zenone Veronese, and Paolo Veneziano. Antonio Vassilacchi, known as Aliense, painted several frescoes, while the high altar features an imposing gilded altarpiece containing ten wooden statues by Pietro Bussolo. The façade, which is still incomplete, was later embellished with a marble portal created by Tamagnino and Gasparo Cairano in 1509.

The monumental cemetery, built on the opposite shore of the gulf, designed by Rodolfo Vantini. Civil architecture: The Palazzo del Podestà, once the seat of the council of the Magnifica Patria, now houses the town hall. Part of the building is a reconstruction after 1901, the year a devastating earthquake brought the city to its knees. The 15th-century Palazzo Fantoni was later embellished with the marble portal created by Tamagnino and Gasparo Cairano in 1509. The monumental cemetery, built on the opposite shore of the gulf, was designed by Rodolfo Vantini.

Part of the building is a reconstruction after 1901, the year a devastating earthquake brought the city to its knees. The monumental cemetery, built on the opposite shore of the gulf, designed by Rodolfo Vantinianno, where a terrible earthquake brought the city to its knees, housed the Athenaeum of Salò, a branch of the ancient Accademia degli Unanimi. The civic theater, now under renovation following a long period of neglect, is also located in the town. The Palazzo Terzi-Martinengo in Barbarano was built on the orders of the Marquis Sforza Pallavicino, captain of the Republic of Venice.
