Description

Salò, a stately villa with a swimming pool, completely independent and nestled in a quiet and elegant residential neighborhood convenient to the lakefront, the town center, and all public and private amenities, all within walking distance.

The villa is divided into two levels:
The main floor of the villa extends over 170 square meters and comprises a living area with a 30 square meter terrace, a kitchen, two bathrooms, two very large double bedrooms, and a single bedroom. A condensing boiler was installed in 2019.
On the ground floor, there are two additional two-room apartments, renovated three years ago and completely independent, each with its own porch. These apartments offer a wide variety of uses, such as a private self-catering experience for younger family members or a B&B rental.

The apartments can also be joined together to create a single, spacious apartment for a second family.
An 800 square meter landscaped garden provides considerable privacy, a single garage, and several parking spaces.

Salò, monuments and places of interest:
Religious architecture: Salò Cathedral, dedicated to Santa Maria Annunziata, represents the most valuable architectural work, designed by Filippo delle Vacche in the late Gothic style, but never fully completed. Inside, it houses paintings by Romanino, Moretto, Zenone Veronese, and Paolo Veneziano. Antonio Vassilacchi, known as Aliense, painted several frescoes, while the high altar features an imposing gilded altarpiece containing ten wooden statues by Pietro Bussolo. The façade, which is still incomplete, was later embellished with a marble portal created by Tamagnino and Gasparo Cairano in 1509.

The monumental cemetery, built on the opposite shore of the gulf, designed by Rodolfo Vantini. Civil architecture: The Palazzo del Podestà, once the seat of the council of the Magnifica Patria, now houses the town hall. Part of the building was rebuilt after 1901, the year a devastating earthquake brought the city to its knees. The 15th-century Palazzo Fantoni housed the Athenaeum of Salò, a branch of the ancient Accademia degli Unanimi. The Civic Theater, now under renovation following a long period of neglect, is located in Barbarano. The Palazzo Terzi-Martinengo in Barbarano was built by order of the Marquis Sforza Pallavicino, captain of the Republic of Venice. It features a large park with beautiful fountains.

The palace is privately owned and therefore not open to visitors. The San Rocco lazaretto, built following a resolution of the General Council dated June 7, 1484. Natural areas: The Municipality of Salò is the most densely populated and inhabited in the Alto Garda Bresciano Park. Mount San Bartolomeo, which overlooks the city, is crisscrossed by nature and landscape trails leading to its summit.
